KDP is already filling highly requested months and days. Putting off securing your slot could leave you little wiggle room for various options. Weekends fill first during our optimal shooting months in Texas. Procrastinating is running the risk of not finding a date at all, or it can force you into off-season months, and most likely weekday options only. I try, yearly, to put numerous reminders out there often to help you out.
